Challenge
XYZ is a private university serving students since late 1990s. Recently they faced a decline in their admissions and approached Vinculum seeking advice on how they could increase the number of admissions.
Resolution
Over a period of two months, we came up with several recommendations
Sales
- 14 teams were instituted and sent in key cities to open admission offices.
- Sales targets were given to each office.
- We set up a follow-up mechanism to ensure lead conversion.
- We also established MIS to monitor each office’s inputs as well as outputs.
- Tri-weekly interventions calls were set up to discuss issues and resolutions.
Marketing
- Digital marketing efforts were started to increase website traffic.
- 100 internal employees were trained to promote the university courses in their towns.
Approach
The project lasted over two months and we conducted workshops with senior leadership and admission officers. During the initial workshops, we were able to identify improvement areas in sales and marketing and recommended changes over a period of 2 months and also on on-going basis.
